Freedom Flyer began with a simple question: why should flying a flag from your vehicle be difficult, awkward, or unreliable?

Freedom Flyer was invented by Jerry Samouce, an Army veteran and founder of Old Soldier Ironworks in Clayton, North Carolina. Jerry is the kind of person who sees a problem, heads to the shop, and builds a better solution.
